During the second semester in the school year, juniors have to take this test known as the ACT. Originally, the ACT was required to get into colleges, which reviewed the scores and determined your acceptance. Now it is optional to submit with applications, but it is still important to see where you range in the different subjects. In order to help the students out, CCR has some advice and perks for the students:
First, students get 4 free waivers to complete the ACT, all starting junior year
When students first sign up, they get study materials for the test for the next 12 months, including practice tests.
Ms. Riedlinger says that “just a couple hours a day” helps students a lot
The earlier you take it, the more time you have to study for retakes
The higher the score on the test, the higher/more scholarships you will get access to
Here are the ACT testing dates for the rest of the year:
February 11th
April 15th
June 10th
July 15th
National ACT Junior Test is on March 14th
