Ayris Rich has been voted for Top Ten girls for Homecoming this year.
Ayris is involved in Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Swim, and Varsity Track and Field at Harding High School.
Ayris does plan on attending college for track and field and to possibly major in business. Someone who inspires Ayris would be her mom because she was always quiet, and Ayris has learned to come out of her shell and be more open.
Ayris would like the younger students at Harding to “be yourself and don’t let people tell you differently.” Ayris’s favorite memories at Harding would be all of the football and basketball games and really all of the sports at Harding.
Ayris feels a homecoming queen should be someone who is nice and kind to others. She was surprised to be voted for homecoming queen because she is quiet, but she is nice to everyone. Ayris believes that because she has been voted for homecoming queen that people who are quiet like her can still get voted for homecoming queen even if they are quiet.
