Jayde Pineda

Jayde Pineda has been voted into the top 10. Her escort will be Saxon Sharp.

She is involved in tennis and has been playing orchestra since fifth grade.

When asked what she would tell her younger self, Jayde replied, “I would tell her that I’m really proud of her and that there are going to be hardships, but that’s ok because it helps you grow as a person.”

Pineda’s biggest inspirations are her parents. They came here from Mexico in the 90s and brought themselves up. “I’m really proud of that,” she said.

Her favorite memory at Harding is playing tennis with all the girls.

Jadye thinks what makes a good homecoming queen is someone who everyone respects, is nice to everyone, and is a model student.

Some advice she’d give to younger students is to be yourself and you will get through it; you’ll graduate on time and achieve your goals.

Jayde explained that being nominated has given her more school spirit, even though she already screams at all the football games.
