Mariah Toombs is a voted member of the 2022 Harding Homecoming Court.
One thing Mariah would tell her younger self would be to stay true and be yourself and to not really care what others think. Her advice for her younger Harding High School students is to get your work done and stay on task so you don’t fall behind with the classwork so it’s easier in the long run for you.
Mariah is involved with the CCP (College Credit Plus) for Harding High School. Mariah’s future and being successful in life inspires her in life, and she plans to attend a college, but she isn't sure what she wants to major in just yet.
Her favorite memory at Harding is Mrs. Farley’s HQ class in her freshman year.
Mariah believes that a homecoming queen should be sociable and nice to everyone. She was surprised to be nominated because she doesn’t take classes at Harding. She didn’t think she’d be nominated, but she believes her classmates nominated her because she is a nice person all around.
