Missing Tennessee woman found in Marion county

On January 5, 2024, the Marion county sheriff’s department had discovered a woman found dead in a drainage ditch on around the 3000 block of Harding Highway East, partially decomposed. The woman found was 40 year old Darcy Hooper from South Fulton, Tennessee. Her daughter spoke out saying the last time she spoke with her mother was in October. There is no suspects in the case so far and authorities still don’t know how Darcy ended up in Marion county.
