Mr.Weaver has been a full time teacher for nine years.
Before coming to Harding, Mr.Weaver taught at Mapleton Public Schools in Denver, Colorado for 7 years and Kankakee High School in Kankakee, and in Illinois for 1 year.
Mr.Weaver knew he wanted to become a teacher in his senior year of high school. “ I had a great experience in my band classes and wanted to share that experience with other young musicians. My band director was very encouraging and provided me with opportunities to conduct the band in class as well as writing musical arrangements for small ensembles.” Mr.Weaver knew he wanted to pursue a career in music education after high school. Mr.Weaver teaches sixth to twelfth grade band.
If Mr.Weaver wasn’t a teacher he would’ve been a national park ranger because he always liked the outdoors and visiting new places.
