How do you feel about Taylor Swift? A form was sent out to the students of Harding High School, determining whether the majority love or hate her. It seems that some of us have “Bad Blood” with her, while others would call themselves a "Lover” of her music.
The form sent out was divided into the following questions:
Do you like Taylor Swift?
Do you feel strongly about Taylor Swift?
Do you prefer old or new Taylor Swift?
From the first question, exactly 50% of our answers were “no!” Though she’s popular, that also goes alongside being disliked. 29.2% of voters voted “kinda,” whilst the last 20.8% said “yes.” Perhaps this poll just didn’t reach the right audience, or people just don’t like her as much as we think.
A whopping 66.7% of people responded to the second question with “no,” saying that they don’t really have a strong opinion on the blonde popstar. Both “love” and “hate” were tied with 16.7%. It’s safe to say that she doesn’t really impact the lives of our peers.
Finally, to our last question, 41.7% of people expressed that they prefer the old Taylor. 25% of our voters said that they actually like both her old and new eras. 20.8% of people said that they don’t necessarily have a preference and that it doesn’t matter to them. And lastly, 12.5% voted that they don’t like either era of her musical career. Though the option “New Taylor Swift” was there, 0% of people clicked it.
Though it was optional, some people decided to leave extra comments. Some people were claiming that those who don’t like her music “lack intelligence,” whilst others said that they question her as a person.
