Paige Powers

Paige Powers is one of the students on the 2022 Homecoming court. She will be escorted by Trinity Keith.

She plays volleyball and basketball. After high school, Paige plans on attending college to major in journalism and minor in African American studies.

One of her favorite Harding memories is any that involve the teams she’s been on, both volleyball and basketball.

In her eyes, being nominated as Homecoming Queen means that everyone, including the underclassmen, see you as a leader that they can trust. She believes she was nominated because she talks to alot of people in her graduating class and is friends with most of them.

Her advice to the freshman, sophomores, and juniors is to “Just have fun! You can’t stress about school all the time.” If she could say anything to her younger self, she would say, “Don’t be afraid to be yourself.”

The person that inspires Paige the most is her mom. She raised Paige all alone with very little help, so she believes it's a “very strong and powerful thing for someone to have to do”.
