Taryah Mason

Taryah Mason has been voted for Top Ten Homecoming girls this year. When asked why she thought she was nominated, she stated “because they could see how much I've grown from middle school.”

Being voted for Top Ten Homecoming girls is something that will leave a mark on everyone's harding legacy, when asked about this, Taryah replied “I think it’ll effect it alot, it’s very big to be a part of something like this, and it's not the same as being in sports.” Taryah seems to be excited to be a part of something this big.

Taryah believes that being a homecoming queen means “finding inner confidence, but as long as I love myself in the end people are able to realize that I'm able to be a part of this.”

Much like a lot of Harding students, Taryah’s favorite memory is one of the football games, specifically the Harding V.S Pleasant game in 2020.

When asked who inspires Taryah, she said “I think my mom inspires me because me and her have been through alot together and the stuff she's been through has taught me to keep going no matter what happens.”
