Taylor Swift has done it again over the past month she has come out with two new albums.
Taylor Swift recently released her new album “ Midnights.” Swift released it on October 21st 2022. Her new album follows her 2020 album “Folklore” and “Evermore” at times tortured indie-folk projects that featured some of her strongest songwriting yet.
There is more to her new album because only hours after Taylor dropped her new album she released seven more songs and called it “ Midnights (3am edition)” and fans went crazy for the new “3 am edition”. The 3am edition added seven extra songs that weren't released with “Midnights.”
The type of genre Taylor uses is more folklore type of music than anything else.
When she released “ Folklore” and “ Evermore” but it was clear to fans what genre she was using now she never released what type of genre she used for “Midnights” but the new album does have a 1970’s inspiration to it.
Taylor wanted to take her fans on a journey through her sleepless nights with this album the first song of the album is “ Lavender Haze” which fans get from that is distinct both in style and content from the rest of Taylor’s album’s.
The new album is not able to get a grammy this year because of how recent it was released about a month after the eligibility period for it to be voted for. The album has already been sold over 1 million copies over the U.S. and it is still continuing to go up in popularity. The new album has outsold Arctic Monkeys and is the number one selling album.
