The Harding High School band is gearing up for their first competition of the year September 17. They worked all summer for their competitive shows.This year's theme is “A Choice to Make” which means fight for freedom and stand up for what you believe in. The setting is based on colonial Americans as they break freedom from the British.
There are a lot of new students in the band this year, and Mr Hartman is really excited. Because of COVID, a lot of students were not able to participate in music competitions, but he feels that the band and the whole music department are a big family here at Harding High School.
Something exciting to look forward to for the band is they are traveling to Florida to perform at the Reliaquest Bowl in Tampa over holiday break. Band members are selling candy to help raise money for the trip. Support the band and buy cand
