This year's dress code is different than in years past. The biggest change that was made is hats and any cultural headwear can be worn, but faces must be visible. Tank tops including spaghetti straps and halter tops are also allowed.
Things that students can not wear.
No violent language and images, bullet proof vest, or body armour. No hate speech, profanity or pornography.
Thoughts from Staff
“As a staff member, I just want to be able to identify my students.”
“When I was in high school my shirt had to cover my torso, and my pants had to be on my waist. We had to dress appropriately.”
Thoughts from Students
“Its nice to wear my hood and not get screamed at in the halls.”
Other facts
Harding administration changed the dresscode to the best of the students’ needs.
Principal Musbach says, “the topic of dress code has been a topic for all of Marion City Schools.”

I wish this article would have been longer. I think it would be interesting to do a poll and see what some thoughts are from students and staff regarding the change of dress code.
