Tahlia Cirillo

Tahlia is another senior girl who made Harding’s Homecoming Court. Escorted by Brennin Beechum, Tahlia used to do band and marching band for two years and did Show Choir last year. Currently, she participates in choir and the National Honor Society.

After graduation, Tahlia doesn’t plan to go to college. “But I feel like if I don’t, then I’m not going to go anywhere,” she explains, “But I know that’s not true because my dad never went, and he’s going to be—potentially, be the owner of a restaurant soon. So, I know it's possible for me to not go and do something big.” She later went on to express that her mom also inspires her because “she’s a good human, no matter what situation she’s in.”

To the underclassmen, she advises to “just keep trying in school, definitely. And also, don’t go into the wrong crowd because I almost did, and then you’ll be fine...Just don’t get in the wrong crowd. Just hang with the people that you can trust.”

Tahlia went on to emphasize friendship and trust again, believing that to be homecoming queen, means “that you believe in your school and you’re dedicated to your friends—how trusting you are of them believing that you are able to be queen.”
